East Texas Chamber Winds Goes to TMEA!

The East Texas Chamber Winds (ETCW) is a local ensemble dedicated to the accurate performance of harmoniemusik. The ETCW’s premiere concert took place in San Augustine, TX at the First United Methodist Church in the summer of 2016, conducted by Roy McLerran. Members of the ETCW are all either current students or recent graduates of the Stephen F. Austin State University School of Music in Nacogdoches, TX. 

In the last year, the ETCW have returned to the First United Methodist Church, performed at the Stephen F. Austin State University School of Music twice, and is now excited to announce an invitation to perform at the Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) annual convention in San Antonio, TX! The concert will take place on Friday, February 16, 2018 from 2-2:30pm in the West Lobby of the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center.

The East Texas Chamber Winds is a sponsored project of Fractured Atlas, a non-profit arts service organization. Contributions for the charitable purposes of East Texas Chamber Winds must be made payable to “Fractured Atlas” only and are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
