The ETCW will perform their annual Summer Concert, “A Night at the Opera,” on Saturday, January 13, 2026, at the Fredonia Hotel in Nacogdoches, Texas. The concert will include instrumental adaptations of operatic pieces by Mozart and Bizet, and will also include music by Dove and Hartmann. The evening will begin with an exploration of the operas heard during the performance and discussion of the historic connection between operas and wind chamber music by guest speaker Professor Nita Hudson of SFASU.
As we begin our second decade of performances, I would like to thank our current members for their continued support and encourage all music lovers in East Texas to join our community by becoming a Solfège Donor.
